I just had this weirdest dream that my fellow Californians elected yet another B-grade movie actor with no political experience to speak of as our next governor. I woke up relieved that it was only a dream.

Hollywood's location means that it's California that gets the actors(?)-turned-politician. Has Broadway ever produced any politicians in NY?

Here in the UK Glenda Jackson, an actress of the very highest calibre is now the Member of Parliament for Hampstead and Highgate. She is possessed of that very rare quality amongst politicians - integrity.

Yes and Glenda Jackson was actily involved in politics for several years before becoming an MP.

Reading between the lines, can I take it you won't be voting for Arnie, Azlan? Look on the bright side - at least he won't be making so many films.
