She is a cutie and from the town that I live in now, Petaluma. I will let you know if there is a sighting.
Dear Lucy:

If you happen to spot Winona sauntering about town, please do refer her to CriticalDance and let her know I would luv to be her personal assistant taking care of her day to day needs for eternity! I am willing to overlook her shopping indiscretions and the fact she smokes! Winona and Audrey Hepburn have a lot more in common than their alabaster beauty. Notice how many of Winona’s movies have a Winona voiceover to start off the flick – just like many of Audrey’s?

I would love to go to a ballgame with Winona, listen to her music collection together, or perhaps relax with a latte on the beach. Winona Ryder is the most beautiful woman on the planet! The below is probably as close as I’ll ever get to Winona Ryder, whose real name is Noni Horowitz. :D

Colin McDowell's fashion moment - Tutus

The tutu is a useful psychological stopgap for designers. For many women, it instantly revives happy memories of ballet classes as a little girl, while also conveying a feeling of glamour and grace associated with prima ballerinas at their most ethereal. It is equally useful for designers in practical terms: net is one of the cheapest fabrics, easily cut and layered to spectacular effect, and it behaves just as well on the catwalk as in front of the cameras.

How to get dressed - Ballet shoes
By lisa armstrong for The Times

So planet fashion is off on one of its ponderous detours into volume, Hitchcock, Incas – you name it. And heels are higher than ever – the better to counterbalance those daring new proportions.

Meanwhile, back in what passes for real life, one item of clothing – or technically speaking, I suppose, two – has emerged as the indispensable buy of the season. Ballet shoes are everywhere this season.
