Anyone keeping up w/ the summer flicks??? I've been pretty bad-and I'm an AVID movie goer. Then there are films which I absolutely refuse to see..call me a snob but I wont see flicks like American Pie2 or Freddy Got Fingered;guess I'm not a fan of raunchy/slob comedies.

At the beginning of the summer I saw Disney's Atlantis- you can't go wrong with Disney! Image Otherwise, I rarely get out to the theaters.
I never have the time....but if I did I would be avid too....
Funniest movie I've seen in a while...Rush Hour 2. Pure laughs the whole way through.
Last night I just saw....Capt. Corelli's Mandolin.
I love period movies. I don't always pick them apart for little mistakes. (not anymore, I used too) It had some great parts. Long, drawn out plot that had to develop, but some good stuff in it.
The most impressing comment I have was how well Nicolas Cage and the other actor..(I remember him from "Newsies" as Cowboy)...did on their accents and particular talents.

Oh yeah, the soundtrack is phenominal! I forgot to mention that!-->Capt. Corelli's Mandolin.
There was another movie earlier int he summer that I swore was the cleverest one I've seen in a while.
The Score....with Robert DeNiro. Suspense and action and CLEVER!
