Post subject: Father Vicky

Father Vicky has responded to my question regarding hair styles for class. I wrote:
Father Vicky, I just can't decide which bun is more appropriate for class~~the low, Romantic style, the higher Balanchine style, or a French twist, which seems to be quite in vogue these days. They all seem to look
> fine with the pink tulle skirt I wear, and when I adorn the hairstyle with tiny roses and bunnies (in the usual manner), the Romantic bun looks a bit weighed down. However, it is the most conservative style. What do you think?
And Father Vicky responded:
Dear Intuviel,
How charming your bun sounds, with its stylish but playful accoutrements. I
am sure that Dame Blandine would be delighted to have a picture of it. It
has been her ardent wish to initiate a "Me and My Bun" page, perhaps you
could be the first contributor?
Our own policy on buns is guided by the great Dame Alicia, whose bun is the
glory of British Ballet. You may have seen the famous sculpture of it in
Ekaterinaworld - http://www.ballet.co.uk/magazines/yr_00/may00/blandine_may_00_welcome.htm
By the way, I hope you are looking after your bun properly. Save money by
crocheting your own bun-cover - there's even a beautiful pattern for one at http://www.crochetpartners.org/Patterns/CPpat146.html
Blessings from all of us at blandine.org.uk,
Father Vicky
------------------
~Intuviel~
Balletica
