If you could change one thing about yourself (ie - more turnout, flexibility, etc.) what would you change?

I'd have straight legs. And that's something I'd have wanted even if I hadn't been a dancer.

Yea, i am boolegged so i would love to have straight legs as well. More turn out would be a plus and flexible ankles.

Id like all my past injuries to stop creeping up on me...

ei, id like my achilles tendonitis to cease to exist, and those deep tendons in my hip to heal all the way.

To the vainer stuff, id rather have a bit less bulky quads and hamstrings (cant stretch those suckers out!)

I wish I was 4 inches taller and my feet were a little bigger.

But actually now that I'm not dancing anymore, I'll take just the feet bigger part.

I wish I had a few more inches in height and that I had been more of a "Gumby".

I'd wish for longer achilles tendons so I could get a deeper plie. :(

I wish I was thirty years younger and could try being a ballet dancer again, knowing what I know now.

Piano players last longer - and stay in the dance biz longer - look at the list of piano masters that lived to be 90 or over 100... Who knows, you might turn out to be good...!! And it beats being washed up at 40...sorry, but I see it every day...

I'd be shorter, less thin, less good-looking, and less charming.

...And less living in a dream world.

i think i would change the fact that all my life i've had bad posture, and now that i'm dancing, my back does have that perfect posture ballerinas have. instead, my shoulders have a bit of a hump to them, from the muscles being forced up. it's getting smoother, but nowhere near what the pros have. oh well. that's probably why my mother always said, stand up straight.

On second thought, I'd like to have a much higher seratonin level - then I wouldn't care so much about all the other things I'd like to change!

I wish i wasn't overly flexable- and exchange some of it for strength. It also gets boring as you are always asked to perform some mangled form that no-one else can possably do. I dont really feel as though i am really working anything when i dance....I also wish my legs wern't slightly bowed.

Happy Christmas everyone!
Hope your wishes come true!!

Salzberg you almost had me booking my flight to Florida then...

I would want more flexibility in my back if we're placing orders please.
