Thats ironic about Desi JR-
The boy,now man who actually played little Ricky on I LOVE LUCY(Bruce????-his name was never in the credits)is also involved in ballet via his wife.
I believe theyre involved in the Jackson Miss competitions or run a Christian ballet company there.

Michael York might have made a terrific ballet dancer. Watch him fencing and just generally moving around in "The Three Musketeers" and "Romeo and Juliet." Another guy who had the body for dance was David Niven. I have a book called "The Films of David Niven," and there are a couple of photos of him in shorts when he was younger and he had long, beautiful, muscular legs!

Have you seen Something for Everyone? Michael York's slender but muscular legs (with their perfect bone structure) are on view in that.

Speaking of Romeo And Juliet how bout BEAUTIFUL Olivia Hussey who played Juliet in the Zeffernelli(spl)film?
With her height, face, and body she would have been perfect!

Yes Olivia was a beauty (and probably still is). After seeing "Romeo and Juliet" I had a crush on her for a while. She would have made a lovely Giselle or ballet Juliet if she had been a dancer.

A young girl at my ballet studio bore a strong resemblance to Olivia Hussey and capitalized on the similarity, even affecting Hussey's husky laugh.

I tried a husky laugh once, and someone gave me a cough drop.

Wow, thanks Angela! I'll be saving that to "favorites." Hope my wife doesn't catch me (just kidding). I was right--she is still beautiful.

Did you find the pictures of her dancing in "Lost HOrizon?"

Romijn-Stamos Found Striptease Scary

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Rebecca Romijn-Stamos has been performing for a long time, but she says the strip tease and sexy dance she did in her new movie "Femme Fatale (news - web sites)" was the scariest thing she had ever done.

For some reason, when he was young, I used to imaging Chevy Chase as a ballet dancer. Seriously. I think there was something about his face that reminded me of Vacheslav Gordeyev.
