CAN you hear the drums Fernando? Strictly speaking, that’s one of the few hits which is not in the great Abbafest that has arrived in Edinburgh for a 12-week run.
It was beyond even Catherine Johnson’s skills as librettist to get a number about the Spanish civil war into a show about a wedding on a Greek island. But as everyone must know by now, most of the tunes are there. That’s the name of the game, you might say.
