Someone online asked me if I knew any recipes for feet...a recipe for keeping feet beautiful....and why a dancer's feet are often "ugly" - here is my answer:

quote:
Take two feet, squeeze them into a vice otherwise known as a pointe shoe.
Now, stand them on one end, (the end with five weak little toes) put over
120 pounds of weight on this end, and pound into the ground until well
tenderized. If the bones move around a bit that's ok, jump up and down for
about 1200 times a day for about 25 yrs. Oh yes, tear off the nails, you
don't need them anyway - tough to chew.
Then, when well done (you can tell because blood no longer comes out the
tough parts), e-mail a ballet teacher online and ask her why the feet look
ugly, have callouses, bunions, arthritis, bone spurs, knobs, bumps and hurt
when you chew on them.
Serve with mustard......
regards, Basheva

Why did nobody think to email Basheva and ask her why she's chewing on her feet?

Basheva knows that chewing on her feet can help keep them soft and supple. It's what the native americans did to soften hides. I also have a story about Brahma bulls....

I thought that was cute. I, for one, would rather not chew my feet, as I have no dental insurance and cannot afford a chipped tooth!
