Apparently customized coffins are now all the rage in the UK and a firm in Nottingham can accommodate all kinds of requests for personalized caskets. In this mornings Metro the coffins illustrated included a giant pink ballet slipper complete with ribbons. I would very much like to know who commissioned it. A dancer? Or, more likely, one of those crazed ballet fans one encounters all over the place.
