Hei guys!

I was just wondering if you've ever done a real blunder connected with dancing? I, for example, was so clever as to tie the ribbons on my pointe shoes in a bow one day during dress rehersals for a show. The leader of the dance scool came over to me and told me to tie them properly, while a whole group of slightly younger (but much more experienced) dancers stood listening, looking at me as though I was a complete fool. Of course, I realised quickly what a... well, fool I had been, which didn't exactly stop my face growing scarlet. So, anyone else broken some dance do or don't, or is it just me?

Hello, Airam...Well, we all learn from our mistakes, that's for sure! Don't let that bother you. I'm sure they have made their mistakes, as well... :) In the Mandolin Dance in "Romeo and Juliet", I was to "toss" the Mandolin to the young man in the trio (who happened to be my husband). I threw it so hard (not wanting to "miss") that I practically knocked the wind out of him!

My favorite "oopsie" occured when I was the 'Mad Hatter' in "Alice in Wonderland" and while on tour during one show, I realized that as soon as I got on stage with my 'party' group, I had forgotten my hat on the prop table. Boy, was I chagrined!

I had been used to taking care of all of my costumes and props myself, and when we had the luxury of performing at a theatre that provided staff for us, and my hat was brought to the prop table for me, I just didn't think of it. And was we were all holding hands for the party scene, I couldn't just leave and to get it!
