Hello, Micky77, and welcome to CriticalDance. Are you doing anything in addition to your ballet to help with turnout and flexibility? I have a student who is doing Pilates (she's 14) and I am amazed at the difference in just 6 months. It has really helped to improve the range of motion of her hips. She really struggled with extensions, especially arabesque, but now her extensions are improved. After several tries over the past couple of years, she has auditioned and was accepted into her first SI away from home! She is just SO excited! So, don't give up, talk to your teacher and see what he/she recommends. Believe it or not, not every dancer's body is perfect. We all have to work with what we are given...
