I am an older dancer and I have problems with bunions, so I don't do any pointe work.... On to my question-I was wondering what split sole canvas shoes would be similar to the Sansha ones. Everything about the way they fit my foot was perfect-they were a nice width, but they bunched up under the metatarsil within few months :( . I am a 6 1/2 D in Blochs Pump and those were still a bit narrow-should I try the mens instead-any ideas? Anyone try the Capezio Cobras?

Before you give up on the Sanshas, you might want to see which style of sansha you had. I tried a few of their other canvas slippers and had the problem you did, but I now wear the Pro 1C style and don't have that trouble at all.

A look at dancedistributors.com yields a zillion different shoes.

yeah, I have the same ones 1C-I just ripped out the insole lining in the problem area-feels better already, but haven't had a class in them yet that way.
