Post subject:  pointe shoe ribbons

I'm new to this forum, so I don't know if this question has already been asked. I have been dancing for 8 years and I have been en pointe for 4 years and yesterday I heard my teacher talking about a way to sew your pointe shoe ribbons to accentuate your arch. I'm just kind of a moderate dancer and I don't have any real talents (like flexibility, turnout, strength, extension, or a great arch), so if anyone knows how I should sew the ribbons like that, I would be happy for the advice. I love to dance but I need all the help I can get.

You can find all you ever wanted to know about pointe shoes --- and some you didn't want to know --- and a lot you never knew even existed --- at "The Perfect Pointe" website:
