I am auditioning for university programs in Canada next school year. I only have 3 years of dance so far, but I am already in advanced classes. I don't know if I have enough training to get into university. (York, Ryerson, in toronto Canada.) What should I do to improve my technique? There really is no other way. Technique is learned in class. <P>You could also inform yourself in other ways, however. Go to performances, watch tapes, read about dance history. Read dance commentary, read everything you can. Familiarize yourself with the all the styles. In other words take every opportunity to learn.
