I can actually think of it being an advantage...<P>I was teaching one day and had my students standing in first position relevé. I told them to stay forward, and to visualize placing their chest over their toes. Two of the men in class protested that the women had an advantage with that visualization.<P>Try it - stand in first position relevé and picture your "chest" out over your toes. I do that regularly and it does help me.

I'm 19 years old and of petite build. I have 32A bra size but I still prefer to wear a bra under my leotard.
i feel more comfortable and confident with support. particularly when it's cold if you know what I mean!! my classmates are younger than me but larger in that department and don't seem to find that their size hinders their dancing.
Show costumes are tricky but my teacher always thinks about practical issues like that when designing our costumes.
