Technique is the physical execution of the steps. A good technique means you have mastered the mechanics of dancing and put things in the right place.<P>A dancer is someone who goes beyond that and puts his or her input of sensitivity, drama, softness, light and shade, slight variations in use of arms and hands, slight differences and nuances in the use of the head and body...<P>But before you do all that you must have the basic clean technique, otherwise you just look a disorganised mess.
