Dancer13 you bring up a good point - bunions can be hereditary, and therefore you need to be extra careful about putting pressure on those toes - you need good support. Bunions can also occur on the little toe.<P>Several of my students who had second toes longer than the big toes, put extra padding on the ends of their big toes to make up the difference. That seemed to help. Have you tried that?<P>

Yes Basheva, I do put extra padding on the ends of my big toes and it helps a lot.
