Post subject:  Help me find a song please.

I am currently teaching jazz to a group of 4 and 5 years old.I was told yesterday that our routine should be a minute and half to two minutes. For the past 5 weeks we pratice on a specific song wich is too long .So now i have to start all over and the presentation is on the 7th of december .To put the cherry on top i have to say what kind of costume we will need by the 22 of november. So if you have some ideas for a short song for 4 and 5 years old it will be a big help. Thank!

Just an idea...could you not edit the song you have been practicing?

You may want to try Satie's "Le Picadilly." It's a piano rag and is about 1.5 minutes long. Fun tune that's in a (short) ABA form. There is a CD recording of it on an album of Satie's music. If you're using a pianist at your studio, there is sheet music available too.

"Ladybug's Picnic" - I think this is an old Sesame Street number. It's cute...the words are on one of those Google lyric sites. Good Luck. How about something Christmassy...?
