Well, Denise, the first person to check this out with - is your teacher.<P>That being said I have usually found my pointe shoes getting dirty along the side of my big toe and that is from standing in B+ position, I think.<P>But you are saying your shoe gets dirty along the front? not the side? That would seem to indicate the foot is not turned out to the back. Check it in the mirror in tendu to the back and see if the foot is turned out. Pointe to the back and hide the heel behind the foot (so you can't see the heel in the mirror). <P>Then spring up to sous-sus from that position. And watch what happens in the mirror. Even better, get your teacher to watch it with you.
