Hello! OK, ballet experts, is the brise vole step from Victor Gsovsky's Grand Pas Classique? I read that it had blue costumes and bravura steps, so I figured it was worth a try... Let me know! Thanks!
Oh, and Marquita, I would recommend taking as much ballet as you can because it really is the foundation for all other times and from this strong base you could easily do modern, jazz, etc. But I'm not really the expert, so... good luck with that! I'm thinking about colleges and stuff too.

Hi! Yes, the ballet is Sleeping Beauty. The Blue Bird coda in Act 3 (Aurora's Wedding) is where you will find the famous brise vole sequence. Good luck for your upcoming exams!

Yes, as GN noted, it's in the Bluebird Pas de deux. You're right though, there are brises voles in Grand pas Classique (though the costumes are not always blue) and as Andre hinted, Balanchine quoted Bluebird in Tachikovsky Pas de deux too, (I think the man often wears a blue vest in that ballet as well).
