<B>The Mind is a Muscle</B><BR>...was the title of a recent workshop at Tate Modern examining the relationship between the visual arts and dance. But while the claim to ‘multimedia’ credentials now comes as standard in contemporary dance, the result is often a fleeting collision between the two communities rather than a deep and mutually-transforming engagement of concerns.<P>This workshop established an important dialogue.
