Big Arts Week

The Big Arts Week (15-22 June 2002), funded by a grant from The Arts Council of England and gifts in kind from many other organisations, aims to bring the nation's best art and artists into classrooms across the country. Launched at the beginning of this year, the initiative seeks to marry artists from every creative discipline with their local schools to work with the pupils on a creative project in an attempt to see young people fired up about the arts.
