<B>ROH has safety policy rebuked</B><BR>by Cameron Robertson in The Stage<P>Industry watchdogs have criticised the Royal Opera House for failing to secure a qualified replacement for Covent Garden's head of safety and for giving responsibility for the job to the ROH's personnel director.<P>Previous head of safety Phil Douglas recently departed the House but had been absent for several months.<P>Director of personnel Elizabeth Bridges has inherited his remit.
