Image <BR><small>Adzido will perform in the Concert</small><P>PRESS RELEASE<P><B>EMBRACING THE GLOBE CONCERT</B><P>Embracing the Globe will be a celebration of diverse talents who share a unique ability to communicate to the world through music and dance. This cultural showpiece will be held at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall on Friday May 31 2002 at 6.30 and promises to be a night to remember.<P>There is no disputing that music and dance transcends cultural frontiers and best illustrates the importance of the expanding global village, which is such an important feature in this millennium.<P>As a direct result of this unique merger of minds and spirit ' Embracing the Globe' will endeavour to capture the vitality, vibrancy and colour of this rich gathering of musical cultures.<P>The line-up will include, the much-respected Maguire O'Shea Academy Performing the sensational Riverdance, world renowned, Umoja, the South African Dance group who never cease to amaze, while their compatriot Sonti Ndebele's inimitable vocals will also be on show. Expect the Scottish Mass Pipers to raise the roof, with cocktail of Spanish influences, which will include the pyrotechnic abilities of Eduardo Niebla the jazz guitarist, the seductive flamingo dancers Rosario Serrano and Alma. Brazilian dancers Quilombo Do Samba, serve up a rare treat, as will the Indian dance act Bharatiya Vidya Bhavani.
