It looks as though the choices on the Net may become more limited: <P><B>New Media Diary</B> <BR>From The Guardian - United Kingdom<P><BR>Last week the dam finally burst for paid-for content, with both the Times website and Ireland.com, the Irish Times site, following the FT's lead in saying that they planned to charge for significant chunks of content - as opposed to rather unfairly singling out crossword freaks. All would have been slightly unnerved then by a Jupiter report saying that almost three-quarters of people would never pay for online content. As is typical of these analyst reports, though, it overlooked the fact that if you ask people whether they'll pay for something that's now free, they'll say no.
