Lee Smikle in LA
As you will see below Swindon Dance serves the public and the dance community in a great variety of ways:

ACT NOW - Save Swindon Dance

Swindon Borough Council is proposing closing the Town Hall - the home of Swindon Dance in order to give more money directly to schools in the Borough following a critical Ofsted (schools inspection) report.

Swindon Dance is used by over 48,000 people a year, provides community classes, residencies, performances, the foundation course in partnership with Swindon College, Dansconnect - and plays a critical role in dance locally, regionally and nationally. The loss of its home - its central location and facilities designed to meet the needs of dance - would be devastating for Swindon Dance and for dance.
