Congratulations to our good friends at Sadler's Wells:<P><BR><B>Sadler’s Wells Sells £1 Million Of Tickets Online this year </B><P>Sadler’s Wells, Britain’s number one dance venue, has broken through the £1 million mark for tickets sold online this year on <A HREF="http://www.sadlerswells.com." TARGET=_blank>www.sadlerswells.com.</A> This is a major breakthrough in London theatre web sales. <P>Ticket sales through the theatre’s website have soared since Sadler’s Wells launched real-time online ticketing in June 2000. After just three months in September 2000 online tickets made-up 11.7% of all Sadler’s Wells ticket sales. Today, Sadler’s Wells regularly sells over 20% of the theatre’s total ticket sales online, which translates to up to £40,000 of sales a week.<P>Sadler’s Wells online booking system led the way for theatre web sales becoming the first real-time online service to offer customers the best full-price tickets available at the moment they book online, without involving a third-party agency. Sadler’s Wells continues to develop its online booking service and has this month launched online merchandise. <BR> <A HREF="http://www.sadlerswells.com" TARGET=_blank>www.sadlerswells.com</A> was developed by winona-dot.com and first launched in 1998. A stylish and elegant site reflecting the sophisticated, state-of-the-art new Sadler’s Wells building, the site is now managed and designed by an in-house team. Galathea helped Sadler’s Wells develop its online ticketing system and in October 2000 <A HREF="http://www.sadlerswells.com" TARGET=_blank>www.sadlerswells.com</A> won Best Theatre Website.
