William Tuckett has assembled what is for many of us a dream team of dancers to perform this summer in "The Soldier's Tale". The story is based on a Russian folktale and will be danced by the dazzling likes of Will Kemp, Matthew Hart, Adam Cooper, and Zenaida Yanowsky, all of whom will "draw on their experiences in film and musical theatre to reveal themselves anew, delivering the narration as well as dancing the story".
Along with designs by the multi-award winner Lez Brotherston and Tuckett's wonderful story telling direction, this is going to be a must see production. It will play at the Linbury Studio Theatre June 15th through the 19th.
It is part of the ROH summer season which also includes The Royal Ballet's "Onegin" and The Bolshoi Ballet, who have several programmes which include "Swan Lake", "The Sleeping Beauty", "Don Quixote", "Romeo and Juliet", "Spartacus", and "The Pharaoh's Daughter".
Online booking has opened for some of these productions as well as other dance, exhibitions and events planned for the season.
The Royal Opera House I am so there!!

(It should be noted that not all the dancer's contracts are signed yet, but the odds are good for it - at least according to my sources).
