Russell Maliphant has won the South Bank Show Award 2004 for Dance, presented by Tamara Rojo

Here are the full nominations for dance:

• George Piper Dances for Mesmerics, Critics' Choice ***** and Broken Fall performed in 2003
• Jonathan Burrows - Both Sitting Duet and Singing - performed in 2003
• Russell Maliphant - One Part 11, Two Times Three and Choice - performed in 2003

As you can see it was a great night for ex-RB dancers - covering all four (GPDx2) of those nominated. It is an extraordinary achievement for Maliphant to be involved in two nominations. He deserves to be even better known in the UK - he has been feted on the Continent for many years.
