Physical Justice
is a new and innovative east london dance agency project, pushing dance into a new context and introducing dance to new partners. It is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation (£60,000) and the Arts Council of England ‘Dance Included’ Programme (£20,000)

The aim is to produce a model of new practice for dance that will then be disseminated nationally. The project will include research, training, pilot and delivery phases, the main aims being:
 to equip dance artists with the necessary skills to deliver high quality dance work to young people within the youth justice system
 to provide access to dance for 300 young people currently on youth offending team schemes thus tackling crime, a pertinent social exclusion issue.
