Workshop of a lifetime

On his latest single, Justin Timberlake declares, “Rock your body!” and the thought of doing one of his remarkable dance routines would most definitely make you do it. On Saturday, May 17, My Tyme UK Dance Workshops, in collaboration with Gem event management, offered people the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rock their bodies with Justin’s choreographer, Marty Kudelka, and his dancer, Eddie Morales. Folu Merriman-Johnson joined the crowds on behalf of Dance Today!

After successful workshops in both Holland and Italy, My Tyme organised this unique event to showcase Britain’s dancing talent and to give that talent the chance to learn from the very best. Hosted at Hackney’s Ocean nightclub, this was the first time that either Marty or Eddie had taught in England and the sheer number of people who turned out to learn showed how long they had been waiting for them.

There were three one and a half hour workshops in total, each with both a freestyle session and a Q&A section, where Marty and Eddie answered questions from the floor on various dancing topics.
