ENGELBERT STEPS IN TO BACK CHARITY BALLET PERFORMANCE From This is Leicestershire
Legendary crooner Engelbert Humperdinck paid a visit to his home town of Leicester to back a charity performance for the Lord Mayor's appeal.
The singer, who was born in Highfields, was giving his support to the charity performance of Giselle by Leicester Performing Arts Youth Ballet Company Production. The ballet will be performed at De Montfort Hall, on Thursday, June 1, with the proceeds going to the Lord Mayor's Salvation Army Appeal.
