The Association of Dance of the African Diaspora

presents

N'Dajeh A Meeting of People

Royal Academy of Dance, Battersea Square, Wandsworth

Saturday 26 October 10-5:00 PM



A networking event for artists and practitioners to meet, exchange and
move. There will be a blend of talks and practical sessions and ample
opportunities over food to meet. Kwesi Johnson will lead choreographic
session, bringing his passion foot Hip Hop, stealth of contemporary dance,
with a grounding of African dance and Capoeira. Sandro Santos, from Sao
Paulo, will lead an energetic and exciting Afro-Brazilian dance session
accompanied by percussion group F-IRE and Barak Schmool. Funmi Adewole will
lead a talk on raising the level of critical debate in the dance sector
concerning African Peoples dance. Please come and join the event and help
us to celebrate and focus in Black History Month whether you are a member
or not....and get connected.

Tickets £15 members of ADAD/ £20 non members
