The Financial Times is not only one of the finest and most reliable newspapers in the world, it also used to host one of the most valuable open access search engines for international ballet and dance.
Unfortunately, the elaborate FT website has changed its access policy to a more complex structure in order to generate some income. The FT dance articles, mainly by Clement Crisp, will still be freely available. However, the links to other newspapers will now be part of the subscription service. There are some free trials on offer, discounts for students etc.
My initial view is that we will continue to post the FT reviews, but will not access the search engine function. In addition, the links we currently have from the FT search engine will no longer be available, unless you have a subscription.
Oh, well! It was nice while it lasted.
