<BR><small>Juliet Stevenson who appeared in 'Tango Sensations'</small><P><BR>Today on BBC Radio 4, there was a fine play set in Argentina, "Tango Sensations". It tied in the tango, the earlier time of the military dictatorship and a relationship between an Englishman in love with all things Argentinian, including tango and a local student researching the fate of a woman murdered by the military.<P>The various elements were combined without too many signs of strain and featured one of the UK's finest actresses Juliet Stevenson in the small role of the murdered woman. A committed campaigner for human rights, i would guess that the theme attracted her. There was no neat resolution as to why the woman was killed and the complexities of the situation were explored at least to some degree.<P>A moving and illuminating piece that made good use throughout of the tango theme. Glorious music by Piazzola provided a wonderful background.
