In case there are no salseros among the UK contingent, have you tried uksalsa.com? I noticed it has a forum.

Matthew - are you coming to London again. Very good salsa places - Salsa Fusion in Leicester Square on Saturdays. Bar Rumba and Bar Salsa have salsa thursday nights.

is the link for good thursday night venues. Bilongo is good too. The Brixton clubs are good but a little further out from Central London.

Thank DJB and Emma. Yes Em - i will be going through london for a couple of days on my way to Paris - ( going to see Balanchine Oct 3 ). :) My best friend is coming with, and she is all about Salsa ( teaching/performing/... ), so now I will look pretty cool knowing all the London Salsa clubs!
I am pretty determined to visit Europe a lot more often in the next year, and maybe one day will rent a place somewhere over there, but haven't got that all figured out yet.
( I was actually going to try to get you, Joanna, and Stuart to go to Paris for a one day ballet adventure, but my friend Kim jumped at the chance to go. Anyway, there is always Christmas and spring ).

Go to the Bistrot Latin in Paris near L'Hotel de Ville then. Great Latin dancing, cinema and food.
