But the pupils of the Manor School of Ballet were too immersed in their production of the magical tale of Mary Poppins to notice their parents’ excitement.
The opening performance of this year’s show from the Edinburgh ballet school saw children from the Murrayfield and Corstorphine branches perform to a sold-out auditorium and confirmed the school’s professional attitude towards the teachings of ballet, jazz and tap, all of which featured during the course of the show. Energetic, confident and disciplined, the young dancers did well to remember their every step and looked graceful throughout - especially the older more experienced students who no doubt have high aspirations for the future. click for more
