Press Release
Northern Exposure Dance Week
Tuesday 23 - Saturday 27 September 8pm (7pm Saturday)

Expose yourself to contemporary dance…

Video games, voyeurism, emigration to Ibiza, TV addiction and 6 red telephone boxes… just a few of the sights along this fast track road to dance enlightenment! Paved by dancers, this weeklong montage of movement pays homage to contemporary pop culture, the good, the bad and the unusual!

Back for its third year and staying true to its mantra, ‘dance is for all,’ Northern Exposure is the opportunity to see a dramatic fusion of professional dance performances and films from a vast array of international, regional and local talent. These performances elegantly juxtapose the athletic with the bizarre and the humorous with the downright weird, both live on stage and on screen – to show everyone, from hardened dance enthusiasts to the mildly curious, exactly what contemporary dance is about.

Featuring the talents of artists, choreographers and companies such as Mobius, United Dance Artists and Bonnie Bird New Choreographer 2002 award winner Stephanie Schrober alongside performances such as Vocal Motion’s irony packed So Does the Bubble Machine and Brazen Dance Theatre’s daring, consumer driven physical duet Branded, Northern Exposure’s reign of the north London dance world can only grow.

Expose Yourself to contemporary dance and take advantage of our special 3 for the price of 2 ticket offer, £9/£7 conc.

Specialist workshops for various local groups will also run as part of the programme.
