Ballet Arizona is hiring former Joffrey Ballet Executive Director Jon Teeuwissen as a management consultant. His stated objectives are to increase the number of donors and expand the audience. His schedule calls for him to be in Phoenix for two weeks each month, with the remainder of his time split between one week at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido and another week in Chicago. Ballet Arizona is moving in stages to its new facility at 28th and Washington in Phoenix. The moves are expected to be completed by August 1 with a public grand opening on October 11, 2013. Megan Keitel reports for the Arizona Republic.
