Wow, all has changed so much in Northeast Ohio over the recent years. I hope this region of the country gets back on its toes in the future with some new exciting dance organization(s). At one time Northeast Ohio boasted such an array of creative dance companies. Now that all has changed, there is too large of a void now in the area.
I spent 5 years of my life living and dancing in Cleveland and always enjoyed going to see the Ohio Ballet. I saw them perform in Akron as well as in Cleveland under the direction of Poll and then Hughes. Many fine dancers lived and worked in Northeast Ohio but sadly that seems no more, or atleast at the moment. Time will tell I guess.
