Great news! Downtown San Jose is actually getting revitalized. Gone are the days when David Bunzel, the first president of San Jose State University who was approached because San Jose was a town in need of a college, used to say after the school was up and running, "It's a college in need of a town!"

Yeah, and maybe there'll be restaurants in SF open past 10:30pm! I can't believe how dull some sections of the City have become at night! I was just in NYC this weekend where people were just sitting down to eat at midnight on Sunday.

Gotta love NYC for the late night dining.

When I used to live in San Jose it was all about Original Joes, Il Fernaio, and Gordon Birsch after 8:00PM if you wanted to eat. It got to the point where I knew the entire Gordon Birsch menu by heart :? . California Sushi was Fantastic but they closed around 7:00PM
You figure with the University right there that there would be more options for late night munchi dining, same thing with Los Gatos. Ho Humm
