<B>Laban Lectures</B><P>Platform Lecture Series <P>Wednesday 14 November 2001 7.00pm <P>We would like to invite you all to come to a Platform Lecture presented by Andrew Carmichael entitled "Confessions of a cultural entrepreneur" <P>Andrew is Head of Projects for deptford X, Director of APT (Arts & Perpetuity Trust) and Project Manager of Laban Centre London's Public Arts Programme. <P>This talk is the story of how a curiously shaped "arts portfolio career" came about - working on arts buildings, arts festivals and individual artists projects. <P>The talk will illustrate a number of projects - The Art in Perpetuity Trust, deptfordX and the Laban Centre's public art programme amongst others - drawing together observations on how the creative spirit can work to ensure sustainability, contribute to regeneration and survive in the modern world. <P>£3.00/£1.00 (concs) <P>Bonnie Bird Theatre <BR>Laban Centre London <BR>Laurie Grove London SE14 6NH <BR>Box office: 020 8692 4070
