New choreographer contract agreed by Equity and ITC

Equity and the Independent Theatre Council have launched a new contract for choreographers, which sets down for the first time the terms and conditions for their employment in small and middle-scale theatre and dance productions.

Negotiations between Equity and the ITC lasted 18 months and resulted in a contract that is an updated version of the standard Equity contract, which has been tailored specifically to choreographers.
