Will there be a report I wonder. Too often people meet, feel good but leave with no action items assigned and no record of decisions made (that is assuming they even get that far).

About 5,000 arts leaders, artists and supporters expected to attend the inaugural National Performing Arts Convention in June 2004 will be looking for ways to promote music, dance and song, which they say can help children do better in school and add cultural richness to people's lives.

For years, nonprofit performing arts groups have tried to collaborate on a joint convention.
