I wonder if Canadians are getting a little overwhelmed by all the capital campaigns by NBoC:

Interesting, divide 3.5 million by 300 prospective (I assume CORPORATE) supporters and you get $11,666.66 each! That’s a lot of 6s! What does the triple 6 stand for? Hmmmmmmmm. Let’s hope they pony up some bucks! There are many wonderful perks to corporate sponsorship like tickets to the ballet, marketing, meeting the dancers, etc. Let’s hope the NHL goes on strike because it may free up some corporate money!

FYI: Much of this money will be from the financial industry. It looks good for goodwill but the reality is you and I will be paying for this in the long run. Most companies are on the stock market so if you invest, you will pay. Also, tax dollars are going towards the Four Seasons Centre as well. I wish the NBoC would do more to put fannies in the seats!
