I guess it's too early to tell, but this sounds like it could work out pretty well for the Dance Council. Even if they lose a little control, it will likely save them from a Boston Dance Umbrella-style folding. (no, I did not intend for that to be a pun.)

Well, tomorrow night I go to a SF Dancers' Group meeting. There is fear that we shall also see a Dance Umbrella-style folding for this group but there is also hope that with partnerships it may survive.

Sadly, the staff of the Dance Council were all let go last Friday, the day the newspaper article appear. <P>A sad day for some of our dance partenrs in Pittsburgh
