A feature on Cal Performances executive director Robert Cole, whose vision not only brought the likes of the Kirov Ballet and Frankfurt Ballet to the US West Coast but also made SF the second home for Mark Morris Dance Group especially in the nurturing of the process that created "The Hard Nut," and his fiancee, musician Susan Muscarella:
