The Madison Square Park Conservancy presents the Alice Farley Dance Theater in Farley's "If There Were A Moon," a dance of gesture and image designed to conjure moonlight by day. Her ensemble of ten will be joined by distinguished solo dancer Felicia Norton. The work will feature an original score by composer Peter Garland and will be performed among the exhibit of sculptures by Diana Al-Hadid entitled "Delirious Matter." Over the past 25 years, Farley has been hailed for her remarkable dance/theater woks which combine magic and circus with puppetry, elaborate surreal visuals, and dance. Thursday July 19 at 7 PM at the Madison Square Park Conservancy, 24th Street and Madison Avenue (enter on the East Side on 24th & Madison). Admission is free.
