Post subject:  Forever Linked - a line of former Rockettes

Former Rockette Mary Six Rupert presents "Forever Linked," the 6th annual tap dance extravaganza that celebrates the history and art of precision dance from The Tiller Girls to The Rockettes. The show features The Legacy Dancers, a line of former Rockettes that still brings down the house, joined by an array of specialty tap dancers. The tap feast will also feature speaker Sandra Bryant, descendent of a Tiller Girl, the first precision dance troupe, and 92-year old Muriel Bradshaw (on tape). Ms. Bradshaw was originally a Roxyette, the group at the Roxy Theatre, that opened Radio City Music Hall in 1932 and later changed its name to the Rockettes. Mary will host the show with Bruce Michael, former VP and Creative Producer of the Rockettes. At Schimmel Center/Pace University, 3 Spruce Street (opposite City Hall). Tickets: $30; $15 for students & children; Reservations 212.346.1715 or http://www.schimmelcenter.org
