Post subject:  "Saving Radio City Music Hall: A Dancer's True Story"

Rosemary Novellino-Mearns, former member of the Radio City Music Hall Ballet Company and Dance Captain, will talk about her fascinating book "Saving Radio City Music Hall: A Dancer's True Story." Rosie made the impossible possible when she headed the group that took on the money interests that had decided to demolish the classic Art Deco masterpiece - and won! The highly visual presentation abounds in rare film and photos, masterfully organized by Bill Mearns, former singer and Captain of the Singers at Radio City Music Hall. According to Wendy Perron, the presentation is ..."full of heart and wit and bravery. No mater how uphill the battle, Rosie proved that it's worth fighting for the art and entertainment you love." The presentation will be held Thursday October 6, 7 PM, at the Episcopal Actors Guild One East 29th Street (in The Little Church Around the Corner). Suggested donation: $20 (all proceeds go the actors/performers in need project of the Episcopal Actors Guild, established in 1923). Reservations at 212.685.2927 or office@actorsguild.org
